Mongolia holds Digital Health Internal Convergence Workshop

The Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation, and Communications of Mongolia (MDDIC), in partnership with the Ministry of Health and UNICEF, conducted the "Digital Health Internal Convergence Workshop” from April 10 to 11, 2025, at the Ministry of Health's office in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.

Two key outcomes emerged from this meeting: a unified set of requirements for the information systems of software developers in the health sector has been established, and a draft of the "Digital Health 2025-2028" comprehensive action plan has been developed and will soon be finalized for approval.

As part of its ongoing efforts to advance digital health, Mongolia will host a discussion on regulating artificial intelligence (AI) in the healthcare sector in May 2025.
